The government merged the former Ministry of Science and Technology (MoST) and the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (MCIT) to form the Ministry of Innovation and Technology In 2019. The Ministry of Innovation and Technology is at the forefront of driving Ethiopia's transformation into a digital economy. By fostering innovation and building local capacity, we aim to create jobs, enhance the country’s competitiveness, and inspire limitless imagination.
